Overview

Android Remote+ is designed as a fully local Android TV remote control app. All remote control operations happen entirely between your device and your Android TV over your local network. We do not operate a user account system for Android Remote+, and we do not run our own analytics, advertising, or tracking systems inside the app.

Local Network Communication

Android Remote+ connects to your Android TV device over your local Wi-Fi network to send remote control commands. This communication is entirely local and does not pass through any external servers. Your device and your TV communicate directly.

Files and Data

Android Remote+ does not access, collect, or transmit any personal files, photos, or documents from your device. The app only sends remote control commands (such as navigation, volume, and power) to your Android TV.

Data Collection

We do not collect personal data from Android Remote+ users through our own servers as part of normal app usage.

Specifically, Android Remote+ does not include:

• Third-party analytics SDKs
• Advertising SDKs
• Third-party tracking SDKs
• Account registration or profile collection
• Network requests for remote control operations beyond your local network
• Data collection or transmission of any user information

Third-Party Services

Android Remote+ uses the AndroidTVRemoteControl library for device discovery and communication with your Android TV. This library operates over your local network and does not transmit data to external servers. The app does not use any third-party advertising or analytics services.

Children's Privacy

Android Remote+ is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Data Security

Because Android Remote+ operates entirely on your local network, your data never leaves your home network. Your device security settings and your home network security are important. Keep your Wi-Fi network secure and use a strong password.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
