Thank you for using tinypdf. Your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains what information tinypdf handles and how that information is used.

Overview

tinypdf is designed as a fully offline PDF utility app. All PDF processing — including compression, merging, splitting, scanning, conversion, and page organization — happens entirely on your device. We do not operate a user account system for tinypdf, and we do not run our own analytics, advertising, or tracking systems inside the app.

Files You Process

tinypdf lets you open PDFs and images from your device for processing. These files are accessed only for the purpose of performing the operation you request and are not transmitted to any external server.

Processed files are saved to your device's local sandbox storage. You choose where to export, share, or save the resulting files using standard iOS system interfaces.

Camera Access

tinypdf includes a document scanning feature. If you use the scanner, tinypdf requests camera access to capture images of documents. Captured images are used exclusively to generate PDF output and are not uploaded anywhere.

Camera access is only used when you actively use the scan feature. We do not access your camera at any other time.

Photo Library Access

If you choose to convert images from your photo library to PDF, tinypdf may request access to your photo library. This access is used only for the images you select and is not used to collect or transmit your photo data.

Data Collection

We do not collect personal data from tinypdf users through our own servers as part of normal app usage.

Specifically, tinypdf does not include:

• Third-party analytics SDKs
• Advertising SDKs
• Third-party tracking SDKs
• Account registration or profile collection
• Network requests for file processing

Third-Party Services

tinypdf does not use third-party libraries or third-party advertising/analytics services for app functionality described in this policy. The app uses Apple platform services and frameworks such as PDFKit, VisionKit, and document/file handling features provided by iOS.

Children's Privacy

tinypdf is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Data Security

Because tinypdf processes and stores data locally on your device, your device security settings and your handling of exported files are important. Keep your device protected and be careful when sharing exported PDFs.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
